Stellar Becomes India's First ISO 27001 (ISMS) Standard Certified Data Recovery Organization

New Delhi, India, 27th April 2017: Stellar Data Recovery one of the world's leading data recovery, data erasure and data migration solutions provider has been certified with ISO 27001 standard containing the requirements for Information Security Management System (ISMS). The ISO 27001 certification has been awarded on successful completion of a formal external audit of Stellar's ISMS.

This implies that Stellar Data Recovery has the necessary policies, procedures and framework in place to securely handle its' customers' data while maintaining security, confidentiality and privacy. ISO 27001 is considered to be the most recognized international standard for information security best practices which works with an aim to minimize risk of data breach and ensure business continuity.

The external audit is an extensive process which involves an in-depth review and test of Stellar's ISMS. The test results authenticated that Stellar's compliance landscape is highly capable and follows a globally acceptable, systematic approach towards establishing safeguards against data breach & information security compromise.
